I decided to use the Very Thankful set because I think it is just too cute but also because some of the profit from the sale of this set goes to the Ronald McDonald House!:) <div><br /></div><div>My first project is a card using the Petal Card die. I decided to put it on the front of a card and add my image INSIDE the die! </div><div><div><br /></div><div>I made my second project because I have been drinking a lot of different teas lately and I thought it would be neat to have a way to share some tea with friends. I used the Scallop Envelope Die to create a tea bag holder.</div><div><br /></div><div>My third project uses the Two Tags die to make a mini candy bar holder. I decorated the outside and slipped a sugar free Hershey bar inside.</div><div><br /></div><div>My final project is another card and it also uses the Scallop Envelope Die. This time I adhered the die cut to the front of a card and slipped a message into the envelope.</div><div><br /></div><div>I am offering Blog Candy during the tour! The blog candy is a handmade Rag Bag made by me for YOU! :) You can see a sample <a href="http://stephsullinsstamps.blogspot.com/2010/02/rag-bags.html">HERE</a>. They are so much easier than I thought they were going to me! So, I made myself one and my best friend's teen daughter loved it, so I made her a messenger bag version for her birthday! I was a little worried since I didn't have a pattern for the messenger bag, but I decided to just sketch it out and it worked out fine!:)<div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Steph Sullinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181991583330271860noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6943520190238074251.post-57631180657306701962010-01-14T13:56:00.000-08:002010-01-14T14:17:30.263-08:00Sale-a-Bration Sets!<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>Not sure what you want to buy in order to get your FREE Sale-a-Bration item(s)?? We turned the whole thing over and using the non-pointy end of our paper piercer and our mat from the mat pack, we rubbed all the "petals" to make them more dimensional. Then we made our brad using the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and the Build a Brad. We attached the brad and flower to the tag. Last year at this time was when I decided to join Stampin' Up as a demonstrator! Why? Because I got 15% off my start kit as well as an extra FREE stamp set(which I chose the Define Your Life set!) I'm so glad I decided to take that step and become a demonstrator! I have made many new friends thanks to my new business!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Also, the other great thing about Sale-a-Bration is that you can earn exclusive stamp sets(as well as punches and paper packs) FREE! I will try to post a video tutorial on Thursday when I am off of work, but here is a picture and a written tutorial. The picture is NOT great, and you can see that I tore the paper slightly, so try not to do that! lol<div><br /></div><div>Ok, so first of all, you cut out your top note die using any color of Stampin' Up card stock. Then using a Hobby Blade and a cutting mat(I used a glass mat) and a metal edged ruler, cut slits in the Top Note die cut you just cut out. The slits will be 1/2" apart and 2 3/4" to 3" in length from top to bottom. </div><div><br /></div><div>Take a piece of Designer Series Paper and cut 4 - 4" x 1/2" strips. Take these strips and weave them into the slits in the Top Note die cut. Tape the strips on the back so they do not come out while you are working the others in. And that's about it. You can now use this for a card front. </div><div><br /></div><div>Like I said, I will try to post a video on Thursday! :)</div><div><br /></div><div>Steph</div>Steph Sullinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181991583330271860noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6943520190238074251.post-82638467924103659652009-12-29T13:58:00.000-08:002009-12-29T14:06:12.342-08:002010 GOALSI have decided to make a 2010 Goal Scrapbook. I haven't decided yet what I am going to use for the actual book, but I have come up with my 2010 Goals. I have decided that 2010 is gonna be my year! I have been saying this for the past several years, but this year I finally have conviction! I AM going to do it!!<div><br /></div><div>2010 GOALS:</div><div><br /></div><div><ol><li>Get Fit - I am going to use P90X and eat better. I have about 80 lbs to lose!</li><li>Read the entire Bible - I have yet to do this and it is time.</li><li>Stampin' Up Business - take it from hobby business to something I can be proud of!</li><li>Learn to Sew - I have a sewing machine, just need to relearn how to use it.</li><li>Grow a Garden - we will be using containers on our porch for this, but I believe we need to eat better and more organically.</li><li>Stockpile - I want to be prepared for anything, so I am planning on stockpiling food and other items again, will be using the Grocery Game for this.</li><li>Recycle - I have wanted to do this for quite some time and we just need to do it!</li><li>Earn More/Save More - I need to earn more money so that I can actually have a savings account!</li><li>Get Organized - in all aspects of my life!</li><li>Walk the Walk - I can say I am a good Christian, but I want people to look at me and know it!</li></ol><div>I will post pictures of my book as I work on it!:) My challenge to you: make a Goals Scrapbook or notebook for 2010! Scrap a page for each goal and scrap as you complete each stage of each goal!</div><div><br /></div><div>Steph</div><div><br /></div></div>Steph Sullinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181991583330271860noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6943520190238074251.post-9757237630876481532009-12-17T07:09:00.000-08:002009-12-17T07:30:36.977-08:00Green Tip of the Week<div style="text-align: left;">Ok, so I had this idea that I would like to share a tip every week on how to save money and/or recycle supplies to help save the planet. So, this week I have made a video on how to put together our wonderful Stampin' Up stamps, and what I do with the excess rubber from all of those sets. This will not be new to many of you, but to some it will, so I decided to share it. Be gentle, because this is only my second video and only my first one with my voice on it. I do not care for how I sound on video! lol Enjoy!</div><div><br /></div><div>Excess Rubber:</div><br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/l03eqYYoKvI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/l03eqYYoKvI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>Steph Sullinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181991583330271860noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6943520190238074251.post-10975386308749033162009-12-05T13:22:00.000-08:002009-12-05T15:48:05.251-08:00Christmas Gifts<div style="text-align: center;">Some Christmas presents I made for my family.
